Part of UNESCO world heritage, the Aletsch glacier is the setting for an amazing tour. Through easy snowshoe hikes, optimizing the use of cable cars, you discover great panoramas from various points of view. The pool and spa in the hotel will add to the peace of your vacation.

Itinerary


D 1/ Breiten-Mörel

Meeting in the afternoon at hotel Salina Maris in Breiten. Presentation of the services in the hotel (spa, gym, jacuzzi, sauna...) that you can then use. Presentation of the week's program and the different snowshoe hikes planned. Diner at the restaurant La Taverne nad night in the hotel.


D 2/ Rhône sources and Conche valley

Transfer to Obewald (1368 m). The hike goes along the source of the Rhone river. This valley, preserved and authentic, offers great architectural attraction and shows how much importance the local inhabitants give to traditions.

D 3/ Moosflu - Aletsch forest (UNESCO) - Riedfurka - Riederalp

Morning is free for you to enjoy the spa, go skiing or even do nothing... We leave in the afternoon for our moonlight hike. We take the cable car to Riederalp then Moosfluh. At dusk, we follow the trail to the Aetsch forest natural reserve, part of UNESCO heritage "Swiss Alps - Jungfrau, aletsc". On our way, our guide will havea surprise that you should like...

D 4/ Simplon pass - Staldhorn

Hike around the Simplon pass (2005 m), at the Italian border. We hike up th reach the Stadlhorn (2462 m) with a great view on the Rhone valley and the famous peaks of Oberland and Valais. On our way back we will visit the charming little village of Naters.

D 5/ Moosfluh - Blausee - Riederalp

From Moosfluh (2333 m), the view on the ridges above the Blue lake and the panoramas on the Valais and the Aletsch glacier, 23 kilometers long, are fabulous.
3 h snowshoe. D: 400 m.


D 6/ Bettmerhorn - Biel - Blausee - Riederalp

We take the cable car to Bettmerhorn, 2647 meters high. We hike down the easy ridge to Biel (2292 m) to reach the resort and village of Riederalp. This hike offers unique panoramas on the bernese Alps, the Aletsch glacier and the 4000ers and the Rhone valley. End of the tour in the afternoon.
