After arriving at Geneva Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Chamonix, a charming and historic town nestled in the heart of the Alps. Suggestion to extend and personalize your stay:
Enhance your experience by adding an extra night in Chamonix (either at the beginning or the end of your trip), to make the most of this legendary alpine town. Take the Aiguille du Midi cable car and marvel at the breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, or dare to step onto the famous "Step into the Void", a glass platform suspended over a thousand meters above the valley floor. You can also board the Montenvers train to reach the Mer de Glace, an iconic glacier and a fascinating window into the world of high mountains.

The day begins with a short morning bus transfer to Les Houches. From there, the Bellevue cable car takes you up to the Bellevue plateau, where your hike starts. Hike down to the end of Bionnassay glacier for a lovely view on the glacier from a "nepali hanging bridge". The trail then climbs steadily to the Col de Tricot (2,120 m / 6,955 ft) before descending on a beautiful path to the Chalets de Miage (1,560 m / 5,118 ft) - a charming alpine hamlet nestled beneath the Dômes de Miage. A perfect spot for a rest and perhaps a refreshment. Then, you hike up to chalets du Truc (1,720 m / 5,643 ft).
A last effort hiking down to the village : Les Contamines-Montjoie were you spend the night.

Suggestion: 
It is possible to shorten this hike if you bypass the ascent to Col du Tricot Pass. An alternate route is described in the roadbook.  

After a short morning transfer to Notre-Dame-de-la-Gorge (1,210 m / 3,970 ft), take a moment to visit the beautiful baroque church, marking the start of the old Roman road, once a vital trade route linking the mountain valleys.The trail climbs steadily through alpine meadows and along a historic stone path to the Col du Bonhomme (2,329 m / 7,641 ft), offering a superb hike along the southern edge of the range. This section forms a natural boundary between the Mont Blanc Massif and the Beaufortain Mountains.
The ascent continues to the Col de la Croix-du-Bonhomme (2,433 m / 7,982 ft), where you' are rewarded with panoramic views of Mont Pourri (3,779 m / 12,398 ft).
A long descent leads through open pastures to the charming hamlet of Les Chapieux (1,549 m / 5,082 ft). From there, a short 25-minute private transfer takes us to Bourg-Saint-Maurice for the night.

Private morning transfer to La Ville des Glaciers (1,800 m / 5,905 ft). Make sure that you stop at the local farm along the way to learn about how world-famous Beaufort cheese is made. Continue your ascent through beautiful alpine meadows to Col de la Seigne Pass (2,516 m / 8,254 ft) and the Italian border. From here, admire the jagged, steep side of the Mt. Blanc Range ; the views are simply breathtaking! Legendary summits like Mt. Blanc de Courmayeur, Noire de Peuterey Spire, and the Grandes Jorasses appear close enough to touch. The descent takes you through Val Veny down to the foot of the Miage Glacier, with its peaceful lake and unique alpine flora. A final transfer from La Visaille will take you to the beautiful village of Courmayeur.

Suggestion :
Depending on your condition for the day, you have the option to extend this day by hiking up to Col Chécrouit, where you'll enjoy a stunning view of Courmayeur. The descent can be made either by the lifts (only available in July and August) or on foot (adding about 1.5 hours of walking and 800 meters of vertical descent).

In the morning, a short transfer takes you to the Italian Val Ferret, at the foot of Mont Dolent. The trail climbs steadily through lush alpine meadows toward the Grand Col Ferret (2,537 m / 8,323 ft), a natural border between Italy and Switzerland, offering breathtaking views of the Grandes Jorasses and the glaciers of the Mont Blanc range.
A gentle descent follows across the peaceful pastures of the Swiss Valais, dotted with chalets and the famous Hérens cows, down to the village of La Fouly. From there, a local bus transfer leads to Champex, a charming alpine village by a mountain lake. The day ends with a short walk to the Relais d'Arpette, nestled beneath the pass of the same name, for a quiet evening in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Suggestion to personalize your stay :
For those seeking a little more comfort, it is possible to replace the night in the mountain hut with a stay in the village of Champex, in a peaceful and welcoming hotel near the lake.
It is also possible to enjoy a rest day in Champex, strolling around the turquoise lake or relaxing by its peaceful shores. You may rent a pedal boat, visit the Flore-Alpe Botanical Garden, or take the La Breya chairlift for breathtaking alpine views and a coffee on the terrace.

From Arpette or Champex, start by hiking through the Swiss mountain pastures and alpine meadows known for the grazing cows that produce some of the Alps' most famous cheeses! From Bovine, enjoy incomparable views of the Rhône River Valley.
We also offer an alternate hike : please be aware that this option presents a much longer and more committing adventure. Fenêtre d'Arpette (2,665m/8,743ft) is a spectacular high-mountain notch located near the Grands Glacier.
Finish the day in the village of Trient (1,280 m / 4,199 ft), where you will have a private transfer to Argentière where you'll eat dinner and spend the night in a very nice hotel.

Enjoy an unforgettable hike on the final day of your journey. The trail through the Aiguilles Rouges Nature Reserve, facing the Mont Blanc range across the valley, offers breathtaking views of glaciers and summits towering above Chamonix. From the Col des Montets (1,461 m / 4,793 ft), follow the famous balcony path to the Lac des Cheserys, whose crystal-clear waters mirror some of the Alps' most iconic peaks. Continue up to the Lac Blanc (2,352 m / 7,716 ft), a true gem of the region. Open your eyes, observe your surroundings, and look for one of the area's many alpine ibex.
From there, descend to La Flégère, where the lift takes you back down to Chamonix.

Suggestion :
A longer option is available for this day: from La Flégère, you can hike down to Chamonix with a nice balcony path (adding around 1.5 hours to the walk and 850 vertical meter of descent). 

A final awakening beneath the peaks. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and take in once more the alpine atmosphere of Chamonix, with its lively terraces and mountain boutiques. Depending on your schedule, take some time for a last stroll through the town or one final look at the Mont Blanc range.
Transfer by taxi to Geneva, according to your flight schedule.
