The Dolomites are often said to be the most beautiful mountains in the world. Beyond their spectacular UNESCO-listed landscapes of sheer rock walls and dolomite cliffs rising above picturesque Alpine meadows, they also offer some of the finest road cycling on the planet. Join us for a classic 7-day loop starting and ending in the capital of the Dolomites, Bolzano. This route takes in the highlights of the eastern Dolomites as well as the majestic Ortler and Trentino mountains to the west. Over the course of the week, we tackle some of Italy's greatest climbs made famous by the Giro d'Italia: first the legendary Stelvio and the beautiful Gavia, followed by the Giau and the Fedaia at the foot of the Marmolada, the iconic passes of the Sella Ronda, and last but not least, the Tre Cime. Along the way, we enjoy the authentic and warm hospitality of South Tyrol, which seamlessly blends the best of Italian and Austrian cultures-especially when it comes to cuisine. If you love Alpine cycling, this trip should definitely be on your shortlist.
