she demonstrated a lack of basic knowledge of the route (lifts and refugios open or not? )
she treated us like she is a kindergarten teacher, not like a guide treats teammates.
in many cases she selectively applied same rules differently to different team members (waiting or going slower than the rest)

Thank you for your feedback.
Your group was indeed quite heterogeneous, and some participants did not have the required level for this trek, which resulted in a very slow pace for part of the group.
The guide, Mylène, therefore had to adapt the group’s pace according to individual abilities and needs. The decisions and “rules” applied during the trek were intended to ensure the safety of all participants, including when adjustments to the pace or itinerary were necessary.
Although certain perceptions may have arisen on this point, Mylène has been leading this trek several times a year for many years and has an in-depth knowledge of the routes, mountain huts, local context and culture. All the guides we work with are trained to adapt to conditions and to act in the best interest of the group.
Your feedback also gives us the opportunity to highlight the importance of clearly communicating the level of difficulty and physical requirements from the outset, so that each participant can fully enjoy the experience.
