- You will need to travel to Marseille by train and return by bus. All necessary information for these travels can be found in your file. These two trips are at your own expense.
- You will need to travel to La Ciotat by bus or by taxi and this transfer is not included in our services. We will provide bus timetable in your travel file. No buses outside school hours (Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and school vacations). So you'll need to order a cab if necessary (approx. 35 euros per vehicle).

3-Star Hotel & Spa located just a stone's throw from the port. Recently renovated, it also offers a wellness area with a hammam, sauna, aqua-sensory pool, experience shower, and a tea room with a salt wall. The buffet breakfast is superb. Air conditioning, Wi-Fi access.

You will stay four nights in a "confort" double room, which are more spacious and offer a partial view of the garden. Rooms are available from 3:00 PM.

- Single Room: Subject to availability at the time of booking, you can reserve a single room for an additional fee (rate available in the "Additional Services" section). This is a double room for single use (DUS).

- IMPORTANT: If there is an odd number of participants, those staying in single rooms must add the "Single Room" supplement to the cost of the stay. The price shown in the pricing table does not include this supplement.

Breakfasts are included. Generally consisting of pastries (pain au chocolat or croissant), fresh bread, fruit, yogurt and cereals. Some accommodations also offer savory dishes with cheese or ham and eggs. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know when you book.

We have chosen not to include lunches and dinners to give you more flexibility and freedom during the day :

- For dinners: there is a wide selection of restaurants nearby.

- For lunch: there are shops, groceries stores, markets or bakeries in Cassis, La Ciotat or Marseille.

- Fire precaution: From June 1st to September 30th, access to the forest areas is regulated and may be prohibited depending on current weather conditions.

Passport Requirements
Travellers must hold a passport that:

• is valid upon entry, and
• remains valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned departure date from the Schengen Area.

It is strongly recommended to ensure a minimum of 6 months' validity prior to expiration to avoid potential boarding refusals by airlines.

Asian Travellers - Visa-Required Countries

Travellers holding passports from China, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, and other South and Southeast Asian countries must obtain a Schengen short-stay visa prior to travel, including for stays of less than 30 days.

• Visa applications must be submitted to the relevant French, Swiss or Italian consular authorities in the traveller's country of residence. Processing times may vary.
• Passports must be in good, undamaged condition (no tears, stains, staples, clips, or other alterations).

Altitude and Physical Effort
Our tours involves sustained daily effort and includes sections at moderate altitude. Travellers are advised to :

• ensure they are in adequate physical condition,
• consult a healthcare professional in case of medical conditions potentially affected by altitude or exertion,
• bring all personal medication required for the entire duration of the trip.

Dentist and general physician:
We recommend a checkup with both before leaving on your trip.  

• wash hands regularly,
• use a clean reusable water bottle,
• avoid drinking untreated natural water sources without proper filtration or purification.

• An analgesic.
• An anti-inflammatory (pills or gels).
• An anti-diarrheal tablets,
• A disinfectant, band aids (several sizes), mole skin, sterile compresses, medical tape, Steri-Strips, non-stick bandages, and an elastic bandage.
• An antiseptic.
• Sunscreen and a burn cream.
• Eye drops.
• Other : survival blanket, scissors, 2 or 3 safety pins, a tick remover, a pair of latex gloves, earplugs.
• Any personal medication.
