You will stay in a selection of comfortable hotels. All accommodation is on a twin, double or triple room basis.
— 2 nights in three-star hotels, and 3 nights in a charming two stars hotel in double bedroom.

If you are an odd number of participants and there is no triple room available, participants in a single room must add the "Single room" supplement to the price of the stay. The price indicated in the price list does not include this supplement.

Single room: subject to availability at the time of your registration, you can book a single room with a supplement.

On your trip,  breakfasts are included.
Drinks, picnics, and dinners in Menton, in Beaulieu-sur-Mer  and in Nice  are not included.
There are a few grocery stores and small shops all along the tour where you will be also able to purchase food supplies for lunches.
Many restaurants in Menton, Beaulieu and Nice for dinners!

Baggage transfers included: you have only to carry your picnic and your personal effects for the day.
Your luggage is transported to your accommodations by vehicle, and you will have access to them every night.
Please note: only one piece of luggage per person will be taken; 15 kg maximum per bag.

On self-guided trips, you are responsible for knowing how to read a map and use a compass. The roadbook we provide at the beginning offers a few additional details. For each stage, make sure you check the latest information on trail conditions; the manager at your accommodations should also be able to provide you with up-to-date information if you ask.
We also provide an active off-line digital application, My Roadbook: It is first and foremost YOUR journey, containing all the information you need : your travel documents, your itinerary - you are guided from your starting point, during the ride and to your accommodation -, GPS tracks, directions (geo-located photos). 

— Weather conditions and rain: known for its mostly calm weather, the Mediterranean sea hides another aspect of its weather that can represent a real danger: storms coming from the sea violently hit the coast and submerge certain parts of the Sentier des Douaniers. Please be sure to pay attention to the signs set up by each town in case of bad weather and do not wander around the capes when strong winds are coming for the East or West. Waves can drag hikers at sea. You should avoid those pieces of the Sentier by using paths located more on the inside of the capes (Cap Martin, Cap Ferrat and Nice’s sea front). 

— Swimming, possible on certain days of this program, is your responsibility.

• No visa is required for American, Canadian, British or Australian citizens for stays of up to 90 days within the Schengen Area (France, Italy and Switzerland included).

Passport Requirements
Travellers must hold a passport that:

• is valid upon entry, and
• remains valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned departure date from the Schengen Area.

It is strongly recommended to ensure a minimum of 6 months' validity prior to expiration to avoid potential boarding refusals by airlines.

Asian Travellers - Visa-Required Countries

Travellers holding passports from China, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, and other South and Southeast Asian countries must obtain a Schengen short-stay visa prior to travel, including for stays of less than 30 days.

• Visa applications must be submitted to the relevant French, Swiss or Italian consular authorities in the traveller's country of residence. Processing times may vary.
• Passports must be in good, undamaged condition (no tears, stains, staples, clips, or other alterations).

These vaccinations are generally recommended for all adults.

Altitude and Physical Effort
Our tours involves sustained daily effort and includes sections at moderate altitude. Travellers are advised to :

• ensure they are in adequate physical condition,
• consult a healthcare professional in case of medical conditions potentially affected by altitude or exertion,
• bring all personal medication required for the entire duration of the trip.

Dentist and general physician:
We recommend a checkup with both before leaving on your trip.  

• wash hands regularly,
• use a clean reusable water bottle,
• avoid drinking untreated natural water sources without proper filtration or purification.

• An analgesic.
• An anti-inflammatory (pills or gels).
• An anti-diarrheal tablets,
• A disinfectant, band aids (several sizes), mole skin, sterile compresses, medical tape, Steri-Strips, non-stick bandages, and an elastic bandage.
• An antiseptic.
• Sunscreen and a burn cream.
• Eye drops.
• Other : survival blanket, scissors, 2 or 3 safety pins, a tick remover, a pair of latex gloves, earplugs.
• Any personal medication.
