Do you know the legend of the Path of the Gods? According to myth, the gods once walked this trail to rescue Ulysses, who was ensnared by the sirens. Following in their footsteps, you'll reach Positano, crossing breathtaking landscapes along this legendary route, with the deep blue sea stretching out before you. But that's not all, many other iconic sites await ! During this week of hiking and cultural exploration, you'll visit the ancient ruins of Pompeii, marvel at the stunning views of Amalfi Coast villages clinging to cliffs, and wander through the colorful streets of the island of Procida.

Depending on your arrival time, you can also enjoy the excitement of Spaccanapoli, the old heart of the city, freely visit Napoli Sotterranea (a real city underneath the city) or the famous Archaeological Museum which houses many objects discovered in Pompeii.

From the port of Naples, it is easy to reach one of the islands in the bay. So, you have the choice to go to sparkling Capri or discreet Procida today.
Anchored in the azure waters of the Mediterranean, the island of Capri has been famous throughout the world for 2,000 years. From Roman emperors to contemporary artists, all have fallen under the spell of this coast with dolomite cliffs overlooking the sea, pierced by caves and surrounded by rocks of fantastic shapes.
From the typical streets of the center of the village, departure towards Mount Solaro, the highest and most splendid lookout point on the island, or a quieter loop to the Tragara lookout overlooking the famous Faraglioni reefs that rise from the water.
If you opt for the island of Procida, you will appreciate the pastel colors of the houses built right next to each other that contrast with the azure blue of the sea. And you will have the opportunity to take the boat to Pozzuoli which is home to a magnificent Roman temple and the underwater archaeological site of Baia.

You take the train to reach the site of Pompeii, a perfectly preserved city, once an important center of antiquity that was totally devastated by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius on August 24,1979. Visit the thermal baths, villas, temples, theaters, houses, etc. Picnic inside one of the green parks and take a break in this huge ancient city.

In the late afternoon, a taxi will take you to Amalfi, located in the heart of the Amalfi Coast to which the city has given its name. Check-in for 3 nights to have time to leisurely visit this former Maritime Republic (early 9th century) which houses, among other things, a magnificent cathedral and its Cloister of Paradise but also a very interesting Paper Museum.

From the hotel, you go up the Valley of the Mills, home to the old paper mills that produced the naval charts in the time of the Republic of Amalfi. In this humid valley where rivers and waterfalls flow in succession, the vegetation is lush. Then you reach Ravello, a beautiful village that overlooks the sea from 350 m high and gives you an unforgettable panoramic view of the coast. Ravello has always attracted rich nobles and artists, Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo (which you can visit) are proof of this.

The Path of the Gods, from Agerola to Positano

By bus, you reach Agerola, a farming hamlet located 800 m above sea level on the heights of the Amalfi Coast. This is where the famous Path of the Gods starts, which the deities would have taken to save Ulysses from the mermaids...

By private transfer, you leave Amalfi today to go to Termini, located at the very end of the Sorrento Peninsula. Beautiful loop hike to Punta Campanella and Mount San Costanzo, offering magnificent views of Ieranto Bay and its wild coves. You can take a short detour to swim at a beautiful small beach. At the end of the day, take the public bus to Sorrento.

You have a full day to discover Sorrento, perched on its cliff facing the island of Capri. Likewise, the port and the beach are within walking distance. Everything is there to end your stay in style.

Depending on your flight schedule, last visit in Sorrento before taking the train or bus to Naples Airport (or we can book you a private transfer).
