Climbing above the void, this multi-day adventure through the Brenta Dolomites offers the perfect opportunity to explore the area's legendary via ferrata. The natural next step from hiking on steep trails through the mountains, reputed for the Bocchette or "small ledge" via ferrata, and just a hop, skip, and a jump from the Po River Valley and Lake Garda, enjoy an amazing through-hike that includes cable and ladder-equipped trails. Wind your way through the mind-blowing vertical limestone towers of the Brenta Dolomites. This incredible tour targets the more active and adventurous hiker looking to experience truly breathtaking summits like nowhere else, while taking full advantage of the warm and friendly Italian hospitality from one mountain hut to the next.

Day 1
Arrival in in Madonna di Campiglio
Lodging : hotel.
Arrival in Madonna di Campiglio the famous Brenta Dolomites resort.
Day 2
Madonna di Campiglio - Vallesinella - Brentei hut - XII-Apostoli hut
Ascent : 1300 m (4265 ft). Descent : 350 m (1148 ft).
6,5 hrs of hiking.

Meet with your guide and fellow climbers at 09:00 in your hotel. Local transfer to Vallesinella (1,513m/4,964ft) and enjoy a leisurely ascent through the forest before walking past, through, and why not over, the huge limestone boulders surrounding the Brentei Hut (2,182m/7,158ft). Next, hike among the massive rock walls of Crozzon di Brenta, and then ascend the small Camosci Glacier to Bocca dei Camosci (2,784m/9,133ft). From there, descend to the XII Apostoli Hut (2,487m/8,159ft), an impressive stone building that practically blends right into the vast limestone walls behind it.
Day 3
XII-Apostoli hut - Agostini hut - Pedrotti e Tosa hut
Ascent : 850 m (2789 ft). Descent : 850 m (2789 ft).

In the morning, climb the Castiglioni via ferrata, a remarkably beautiful trail equipped with cables, rungs, and ladders, to the Agostini Hut (2,410m/7,906ft), where we plan to eat lunch. In the afternoon, our hike takes us through Ambiez Valley, a mountain amphitheater like no other surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, to the Del Ideale via ferrata. After ambling across a few snowfields the hike continues along the Brentari trail all the way to the Perdrottie Tosa Hut (2,491m/8,172ft).
Day 4
Pedrotti e Tosa hut - Bocchette centrale - alimonta hut
Ascent : 500 m (1640 ft). Descent : 400 m (1312 ft).
5 hrs of hiking.

Here begins two intense days of hiking and via ferrata climbing with an emphasis placed on exposure! Once through the narrow Bocca di Brenta Pass, the legendary Bocchette Centrale trail begins, taking us through the area's rock towers and monoliths on our way to the Alimonta Hut (2,580m/8,464ft). Savor this truly superb journey through a unique vertical landscape, using cables and ladders to move up, across, and over, and stopping whenever we can to take photos in one of the few areas that captures the true essence of the Dolomites.
Day 5
Alimonta hut - Bocchette alte - Cima Brenta - Tuckett hut
Ascent : 600 m (1968 ft). Descent : 750 m (2460 ft).

Enjoy the same thrilling atmosphere on day two of the Bocchette Alte via ferrata. Climb towards the summit of Cima Brenta (3,151m/10,338ft), the second highest peak in the range, and then descend to Bocca del Tuckett. From there, walk to the hut.
Day 6
Bocca del Tuckett - Via Benini - Groste Pass - Tuckett hut
Ascent : 700 m (2296 ft). Descent : 700 m (2296 ft).
5,5 hrs of hiking.

Hike back up to Bocca del Tuckett (2,648m/8,687ft) to continue climbing the Bocchette via ferrata further north. The via ferrata on the Benini trail leads to Groste Pass (2,446m/8,025ft), located in the northern part of the range. Enjoy the leisurely hike back to the Tuckett Hut on a relatively easy trail.
Day 7
Rifugio Tuckett - Sosat trail - Madonna du Campiglio
Ascent : 200 m (656 ft). Descent : 850 m (2789 ft).
3,5 hrs of hiking.

From the hut, we plan
to take the Sosat trail and climb the last via ferrata of our tour, which leads
all the way to the Brentei Hut. From there, the trail from the first day takes
us back down through the same lush green alpine pastures on our descent towards
Vallesinella. Back at your Hotel in Madonna di Campiglio mid-afternoon for the farewall dinner in town.
