Prices indicated are calculated based on a limited number of seats available or for a departure in over 2 months from today. Once all prereserved seats are filled, or for reservations with a departure in less than 2 months, we might have to acquire seats for a higher price (depending on availability at the moment the reservation is made), which might result in the application of a supplement that increases the closer we are to the departure date.

Our trip

  • Visiting medieval Bayeux and its cathedral.

  • Discovering the Normandy countryside and the main landing beaches, including Omaha and Utah Beach.

  • A privileged route, alternating between the greenway on the Vélomaritime and small country roads.

  • Accommodation in 4* hotels and a night in a nice charming B&B.

This looped cycling tour from Bayeux offers an unforgettable immersion into the history and landscapes of Normandy. Leaving Bayeux, famous for its tapestry and intact medieval city, the route leads to the D-Day landing beaches, beginning with Arromanches-les-Bains and its remains of the Mulberry harbor, testaments to D-Day. Following the coast, you'll discover Gold Beach, then Omaha Beach, where monuments and cemeteries pay tribute to the fallen soldiers. The Pointe du Hoc, with its steep cliffs and craters, offers a striking view and a poignant narrative of the battles. Further on, Utah Beach reveals its museum dedicated to the landings and its long, peaceful beaches, witnesses to Allied courage. The return to Bayeux crosses through picturesque Norman villages, amidst verdant hedgerows and traditional farms. This circuit blends history, nature, and serenity, retracing the major events of 1944 within landscapes imbued with memories.
